In the spirit that “a picture is worth a thousand words,” Off the Grid strives to provide unique and colorful viewpoints that attempt to give you an idea of the vastness of every location – what you can experience goes beyond what any author, videographer, or photographer can ever hope to document.

The only way to understand a culture, a people, or a destination is to experience it firsthand and locally by going off the tourist-oriented path, going beyond the bustle, and getting Off the Grid.

From Montreal, Charles has graduated from Communications at Vanier College in Montreal, and has done design, photography, production, and communications work for a variety of companies and organizations in North America, including running the Communications for Youth Leaders International in Maryland, as well as being the Assistant Editor for The Eastern Star Journal.

Having traveled extensively with different organizations, his experiences and photography have contributed to producing Off the Grid.
